During my Scientific Initiation project I created the RU management application, The purpose of this application is to manage the university restaurant of the Federal Institute of Maranhão - Campus Caxias so that students can request a TICKET, which will be used to buy lunch or dinner at a discount or for free.
With the app, the college student will be able to create an account using his ACADEMIC EMAIL and personal data, so once created, he will be able to request a Ticket to guarantee meals on specific days of the week or just on one day.
Requests must be analyzed and accepted by the course coordinator, using the other app (TicketIF Manager).
After your order is accepted, your Ticket will now have a QR Code that will be used to identify and make the payment, when presented directly at the restaurant.

Research project started during my graduation in Computer Science, the application is a system for managing the University Restaurant, generating reports and approving students in a list of requests for the institution's meal ticket.
This work aims to optimize management control restaurant, generate better efficiency and lower costs for the institution, as well as decrease the amount of food wasted during meals. Cost reduction is directly linked to the consolidation of a system for assessing the number of people who ordered a meal that day. These data will be the basis for the amount of food produced in the day, avoiding waste due to production in an amount corresponding to the demand.
Currently, IFMA-Campus Caxias has approximately 2,000 students enrolled.
As a result, there is a great demand for food requests on a daily basis, which varies according to the performance of campus activities. Currently, all of these requests are processed manually, which leads to inefficiency, slowness and errors. Therefore, the development of the system proposed in this research will contribute significantly to improve and optimize the entire food requisition and production chain at IFMA-Campus Caxias.
Recently, one of the strands of environmental education explores the prevention and fight against food waste, since the impact caused on the environment by man's unbridled action has global consequences.
One way to improve strategies to combat food waste involves the use of technologies and strategic actions. Thus, this research seeks to develop an automated system for issuing and controlling food tickets in order to improve food management in university restaurants. In addition, the system developed should perform data analysis to make available to the institution's managers, as well as to the restaurant, information on occasions of lower and higher demand, food spending forecast and data for food management and planning strategy.
